Emerging architects under the age of 35 along with aspiring students from architectural and construction-focused universities are invited to apply for the prestigious MADA Award. Eligible projects, completed individually or in teams within the past three years, can be submitted for consideration.&nbsp;&nbsp;The winners of the MADA award will be selected by the respectable jury, the identities of whom will be revealed at a later date. Over the course of the year, applicants for the MADA award will engage in a series of workshops. The award ceremony and presentation of the winning projects will take place at the MosBuild trade show.&nbsp;A distinguished jury will select the winners, with judges being selected from across the industry and MADA participants will have the opportunity to engage with them in a series of interactive workshops. The awards ceremony will be held at the MosBuild exhibtion with the winning projects on show.&nbsp;Applications accepted for projects: &nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Executed in Russia (by Russian as well as international project engineers)&nbsp;</li><li>Executed internationally (in case a Russian architect participated in the development team)</li></ul>&nbsp;Participation in the MADA Award is entirely free.&nbsp;<img class="image_resized" style="aspect-ratio:1330/654;width:100%;" src="https://cdn-ite.prismetic.com/Mos_Build_Awards_6775c492d0.png" alt="MosBuild Awards.png" width="1330" height="654">&nbsp;&nbsp;Project Submission Requirements:&nbsp;<ul><li>Microsoft Word format with a mandatory list of technical and economic performance results.&nbsp;</li><li>Must include an overview of the materials and technologies used, including the names of manufacturers and brands.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Motivational letter&nbsp;MADA is an award which goes beyond the project, it is about values that the authors express in their projects. That is why we require the description of your mission statement, story of growth, success, professional values and aspirations in to be compiled in the following:&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Written form (under 2000 characters), Microsoft Word file -</li><li>Video introduction format (under 1 min), horizontal, .mp4 or .wav file</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Visual Submission requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;The visual element of the application can include either or all of the following:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>photos</li><li>master layout plans</li><li>sections, sketches (up to 10 images, min 2880px wide, in .jpg)</li><li>video links.</li></ul>&nbsp;*The authorship of the image should be indicated&nbsp;&nbsp;Photography Guidelines&nbsp;For exterior projects, photographs should capture both the building’s exterior and interior, except in the case of interior-only projects. Photos should be taken during daylight on a clear day to avoid any visual distortion. The images should effectively showcase the relationship between the architecture and its context while minimising distractions like crowds, vehicles, or other elements.&nbsp;&nbsp;*Close-up shots that emphasize the details, finishes, and materials are highly encouraged. Images in GIF format or links to YouTube and Vimeo videos can also be provided along with the photos.

Award Guidlines

For Infrastructure Development and Landscape Design, Reconstruction and Adjustment, and Public Space Interior categories:&nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>Expression and originality: architectural image, composition structure, aesthetic characteristics of an object&nbsp;</li><li>Quality and applicability: in terms of space, layout, functional organization of the object, social impact, economic efficiency&nbsp;</li><li>Innovation: new approach, implementation of modern technological solutions and materials – in basebuild, engineering, energy saving, ecological characteristics of the object, materials and technologies used</li></ul>

CRITERIA

Voting is undertaken by the contest jury composed of industry experts, including food &amp; drink manufacturers, industry institutions and unions, and government representatives.&nbsp;An organoleptic evaluation of product quality in each contest group is undertaken in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents, assessing the appearance as well as packaging. Based on these results, each jury member completes an evaluation sheet. This leads to the formation of protocals, which are sent to the competition commission.&nbsp;The Chairman of the contest jury is Konstantin Savenkov, deputy head of Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance).

VOTING PROCEDURE AND JURY MEMBERS

MADA Prize applicants may be architects (up to 35 years old) and students of architectural and construction universities (current and completed). Projects may have been completed and implemented either individually or by a team of architects over the past three years.   &nbsp;The following objects are accepted for consideration:   &nbsp;<ul style="list-style-type:square;"><li>implemented in Russia (by both Russian and foreign designers)</li><li>implemented outside of Russia (in the case of the participation of a Russian architect in the author's team)</li></ul>
