From August 22 to 23, 2025, Perm will host the year's key event in the field of digital urban transformation—the Perm Development Forum "CITIES OF THE FUTURE." Government officials, NGOs, and manufacturers and suppliers of smart city solutions will participate in the Forum and its events.
The Pension Fund's "CITIES OF THE FUTURE" program minimizes traditional sessions and maximizes direct communication with key customers for digital solutions and equipment:
// Presentation sessions and panel discussions on the main areas of the event: construction and housing and communal services; digital sovereignty and cybersecurity; integrated territorial development; public transport and road network;
// An open mic with the heads of relevant federal ministries: Maksut Shadayev (Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media), Irek Faizullin (Ministry of Construction, Construction, and Housing and Cadastre), and Oleg Skufinsky (Rosreestr) have already confirmed their participation. The participation of Andrey Nikitin (Ministry of Transport, Russian Federation) and Maxim Reshetnikov (Ministry of Economic Development, Russian Federation) is pending approval.

// An "expert lounge" where regional and municipal leaders and industry-leading companies will be ready to provide feedback in a live dialogue with the audience.
The PFR Business Program "CITIES OF THE FUTURE" will also include:

More than 40 federal and regional industry media outlets and associations will serve as information partners for the event , and more than 10 million construction industry specialists and executives will learn about it.
The forum will be held as part of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment" and the National Program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation." The forum is organized by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Utilities of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Perm Krai, and the Smart City Competence Center.
