The MosBuild 2022 exhibition will be held as planned — from March 29 to April 1 at Crocus Expo IEC. The 4-day exhibition will feature an extensive business programme.

At tough times of market development, personal communication, as well as the opportunity to share plans and experiences in solving business problems become of a particular value. As part of the MosBuild 2022’s Business Programme, you will be able both to discuss the pressing and topical issues of the industry and find new sources of inspiration. The four content areas of the programme will be available for the entire audience of the building and finishing materials market: designers and architects, manufacturers and suppliers, DIY network specialists and builders — everyone will get the chance to talk to representatives of major companies, industry experts and influencers.

Lecture hall for designers as part of the Decorium project (Pavilion 3, Hall 12)

The official opening of the Decorium space will take place at MosBuild 2022 on March 29, with the participation of its curator, ELLE DECORATION’s editor-in-chief Alexey Dorozhkin and the project authors.

The lecture hall speakers will discuss the future of interior design, the ways of discovering new markets and transition from private to public interiors, the opportunities and additional services existing in the field of design, collaboration options and new niches in the design environment, current changes in designer promotion and many other issues.

The first exhibition day will include presentations of specialists from the FullHouseDesign interior design studio: the founder of the Art Online 24 online contemporary art gallery and the Askeri Gallery offline gallery in the centre of Moscow Polina Askeri, the author of the Textile trend zone of the MosBuild Decorium project, founder of the Art Group design studio and the Reda brand Daria Vasilkova. In addition, Maria Seredkina, Marketing Integrated Communications Manager at PPG Tikkurila, and Daria Skorobogatova, Head of Tikkurila Academy Russia, will present a report called “Homestaging. Fashion Trends and Colour Combinations. Tikkurila Solutions”.

On March 30, the lecture hall will present the Espocada collection. The MosBuild 2022 visitors will be able to listen to Viktor Dembovsky, a designer, historian of architecture and design, author of the “Decor” trend zone of the Decorium project, who will talk about contemporary methods of working with architectural decor, Svetlana Kotlukova, a founder and head of the ArchDialog agency, who will speak about homestaging issues; there will also be a report “How Eco-Trends Help the Designer”. PPG Tikkurila experts Oksana Nasonova, Tikkurila Russia Marketing Manager, and Ksenia Ermolenko, B2B Marketing Manager, will present an innovative and environmentally friendly novelty – Tikkurila Harmony Care. On the second day, specialists from the “Library of Materials” space will give a lecture on “The Art of Working with Materials”.

On March 31, the lecture hall will be attended by: Ismael Juarez Rodriguez, a Spanish designer, architect, brand manager of the Decosan brand and creator of bathroom furniture collections; Alexandra Ulybina, Head of ZR in Russia and CIS, who will present the 2022 collections from ZR, Etamine and Travers; Daria Kazantseva, a designer, decorator and author of design educational programs; Massimo Santi, an architect and development director of the KERAMA MARAZZI “Bathroom Project”, who will talk about the history of Italian industrial design and the new 2022 KERAMA MARAZZI collection of sanitary ceramics; Julia Chebotar, a stylist for interior shooting; the famous designer Diana Balashova.

On the final day, the following speakers will attend the lecture hall: the founder and head of the Olga Kosyreva Design Lecture Hall Olga Kosyreva, the designer Valery Lizunov, who will share with the visitors his vision of irony and grotesque in design, as well as the winners of I-DESIGN AWARDS 2021, a regional award dedicated to achievements in the field of interior design and architecture of the Ural Federal District.

Architectural Lecture Hall (Pavilion 2, Hall H)

Leading Russian architects will speak at the Architectural Lecture Hall for four days. The following events are scheduled:

// The Architectural Forum, which will include the plenary session “Future Standards: What Is Awaiting Us” and four practical sessions on the way to create a unique building, on new ideas an architect can convey through housing and on the types of offices required today;
// Interviews with Vladimir Plotkin and Sergej Trukhanov;
// Public defence of projects by the MADA award finalists and a session for young architects.

Master Classes Zone (Pavilion 3, Hall 14)

The first day of MosBuild 2022 in the Master Classes Zone will be dedicated to doors and locks. During the events, the experts will talk about the most common mistakes in door installation and on why the doors can inspire. The doors installation specialists Larion Makarenko and Pavel Soldatov will give their master classes.

On the second day, the Master Classes Zone will feature a series of interviews with top managers of construction companies, and specialists from IVC and PPG Tikkurila will hold their master classes. Alberto Favaron, KERAMA MARAZZI Projects Director, will make a report called “Opportunities for Ceramic Materials in Architectural Projects. Innovations and Energy Saving Technologies in Construction”.

March 31 will be dedicated to the interior designers, and the MosBuild 2022 media sponsor “Stroitelnaya Gazeta” will present the live information about the bid price at the time of increased construction costs.

DIY Forum (Pavilion 1, Hall F+G, participation fee, registration required)

The 10th Anniversary DIY Forum will be held on March 29. Yakov Syromyatnikov, Director of the MosBuild exhibition, Nikita Kuznetsov, Director of the Internal Trade Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Gordeev, Commercial Director of Unitile Group, will address the forum participants with a welcoming speech.

INFOLine CEO Ivan Fedyakov will present an analytical report on the development of the building and finishing materials market and DIY trade, as well as the INFOLine DIY Retail Russia TOP rating.

As part of a plenary discussion of DIY chain top managers, the experts will discuss market results for 2021, the current situation in the industry, promotional activity and joint campaigns of suppliers and retail chains, as well as the first real indicator of price trends – Russian Repair Index. The speakers: Viktor Kuznetsov, CEO of Vseinstrumenti.ru, Evgeny Movchan, CEO of Petrovich CTH, Maria Evnevich, Board Member at Maxidom, Marina Fytova, Deputy General Director of Leroy Merlin, and Vladimir Guryev, President of Vimos Trade House.

The plenary discussion of leading suppliers and manufacturers of building and finishing materials will feature such issues as development of various price segments of goods, own brands, changes in consumer behaviour in B2C and B2B channels, etc. Mikhail Burmistrov, CEO of INFOLine-Analytics, and Vladislava Vishnyakova, Director of Professional Relationship at Leroy Merlin, will be the event moderators. The discussion will be attended by Andrey Krivosheev, Director of Sales and Marketing in Russia at Robert Bosch, Evgeny Abrin, CEO of Kiilto Russia, Yuri Kovtun, CEO of Cersanit in Russia, and Vladimir Gordeev.

The third plenary discussion will be dedicated to the market of construction and repair services. Igor Kolynin, Marketing Director, Petrovich CTH, Natalya Gordon, Services Development Director at Leroy Merlin, and Svetlana Filimonova, Head of the Repair and Construction category at Avito.Services, will talk about the growth in demand for the Do-It-For-Me service, quality control of services, new specialized services and opportunities, as well as promotion of sales of building and finishing materials through professional users and foremen.

In addition, as part of the forum, a special session of Petrovich Construction Trading House will be held, during which Evgeny Movchan and Igor Kolynin will talk about the new regional development strategy of Petrovich CTH, there will also be a ceremony to commemorate the winners of the “For Contribution to the Industry Development” award of the 10th Anniversary DIY Forum.
