The biggest event in the sector – Mosbuild building & interior show updated a whole number of key figures on its 30th anniversary. This is the first time when the exhibit space was more than 100,000 sq.m and spanned across 9 halls in the three pavilions of Crocus Expo. MosBuild 2025 had more sections up to 17, including two new sections such as Landscaping and Fireplaces, and was attended by 80,748 professionals, this is a new record over the three decades of its existence.

Thus, the anniversary MosBuild has reaffirmed its status of the largest professional event not only in Russia and CIS but in the Eastern Europe, too.
This is not only the attendee audience that grows larger, but also MosBuild's commercial potential. This year, the show was attended by 29,600 people from wholesalers and retailers, 11,900 building and repair pros, 14,700 designers and architects. One in two guests was a company manager, a top manager or a business owner. Companies with a purchase budget over 40 million rubles accounted for more than 20,000 attendees.

Promising markets and industries, as well as tools for workflow optimisation, upgrade and digitalisation at developers and builders were discussed by experts from a whole number of conferences and dedicated sessions. The key event was the conference entitled "Success at Private Housing Construction Market in 2025", which was supported by MosBuild 's partner FORUMHOUSE and OpenVillage. Hosts and speakers shared their forecasts, success cases and best practices for operation in the context of a changing private housing construction market.

A series of educational events for building and repair pros, professional contests and demonstrations of new features of building materials and finishes were held in the Innovations & Workshops Area. One of the highlights was the workshop delivered by Pavel Soldatov, which brought together door fitters from across Russia. This is also here where Russia's first "INSTALLER SHOW 2025" for window pros took place. For the window sector, there was also another one iconic platform running, the Great Window Forum, which was attended by more than 460 people this year.

The block of topics for designers from legal aspects to tips on social media management were covered at the Decorium. Also, there were two exhibitor platforms running for designers, MosBuild Lectorium by Manders and MosBuild Select by АМ Group, dedicated to latest trends in plumbing. Also, AM Group founder Jacob Kanjo presented DEA DESIGN, his personal brand of premium plumbing created in 2024. The brand's core product range includes modern bathtubs and washbasins made of natural marble, Solid Surface artificial stone and GlasstechТМ transparent composite, supplemented by faucets, accessories and bespoke items.

At MosBuild Connect, there were some famous designers, architects, heads of biggest companies on the building materials & finishes market speaking in the flash interview format. Over the 4 show days, there were more than 60 presentations delivered featuring: Marina Fytova (Executive Director, Lemana PRO), Irina Ospennikova (Key Partners Director, Döcke Trade Marketing), Maxim Suravegin (Executive Director, OBI Russia), Nikolay Dolgiy (Alutech Regional Management Director), Jacob Kanjo (founder and CEO, AM Group), Anton Snitko (CEO, WoodCort), Alexander Chetverikov (CCO, Larta Glass), Nazar Danga (Managing Partner, MercuryStone), Alexander Sudnev (CEO, Tikkivala), Sergey Yelnikov (PR & Promotion Manager, VEKA Rus), Gyokan Avdjioglu (architect, founder and head of GAD Architecture), Zhu Daxiang (architect, founder of Xiaolou Art Space).

The Architectural Lectorium again brought together leading architects, developers, city planners and the media. Some outstanding projects were discussed here, from interchange hubs to renovation of damaged historical buildings, new materials, landscape architecture and many more.

COLABS WITH DESIGNERS
MosBuild is a venue for colabs between manufacturers and designers. Cooperation with people from creative industries is one of priorities at MosBuild. Therefore, every year the most renowned Russian architects, designers and artists are brought in to create content venues for the show.
Special guests at MosBuild Connect were ambassadors of the anniversary show out of renowned Russian designers such as Diana Balashova, Alexander Vezlomtsev, Victor Dembovskiy, Alexey Dorozhkin, Anastasia Panibratova, Oleg Klodt, Sergey Kolchin, Valeriy Lizunov, Sergey Markov, Helen Paunich, Sergey Tregubov, Boris Uborevich-Borovskiy, Alexandra Fedorova, Mikhail Shaposhnikov.

In 2025, as many as 3 business agenda areas featured a custom design. The MosBuild Connect Studio's design was created by Alexandra Fedorova, architect, head of Fedorova Architects more about the design here>>>. Decorium was styled by Le Atelier's team led by Sergey Kolchin more about the design here>>>, while the design for MosBuild Select by АМ Group was developed by Helen Paunich, architect, designer, member of the Union of Architects of Russia, founder and head of JPArchitect.
The trend of collaboration with renowned designers and atchitects is also backed up by MosBuild's exhibitors. This makes the display more interesting and colorful, and products of companies more appealing to attendees. Specifically, a whole series of this year's stands were designed by famous creators such as Victor Dembovskiy and Valeriy Lizunov.
"We see more interest to shows here in Russia on the whole, and as for MosBuild, it is totally record-breaking this year. The scale of display is impressive. I hope the tradition of bringing in designers to work with stands will live on and evolve," said Valeriy Lizunov, architect, designer, founder of ARCHPOINT.
