MosBuild 2025 to feature a discussion platform for architects

Architectural Lecture Hall 2025

How will new technologies change design? How to maintain a balance between the historical environment and modern solutions? What will be the new stage of transport hub development? What is the specificity of the personnel issue in the architectural sphere? These and many other topics will be included in the program of the Architectural Lecture Hall – one of the main discussion platforms of the international construction and interior exhibition MosBuild 2025.

The architectural lecture hall at MosBuild 2025 is:

// 4 thematic days
// 10+ sessions

On April 1, the work of the Archlectorium will be opened by  the "Architectural Forum-2025. How are global trends reflected in modern Russian projects?" . Experts will discuss significant architectural objects that appeared in the regions of Russia in 2024, outstanding projects accepted for implementation, and global trends in Russian architecture.

Also on the program for the day: a discussion on transport hubs, a round table on  “ Industry 2.0: How architecture is changing the industrial landscape,” and a discussion on the redevelopment of industrial spaces.

The main topic of the second day of the lectures will be technologies and materials of the future . The sessions will be devoted to high-rise construction, which is primarily associated with hi-tech in architecture and building engineering, as well as suburban real estate, which, on the contrary, is often perceived as something traditional, but which in recent years has become a real laboratory for the development and application of high technologies and materials of the future.

The third day of the Archlectorium will be devoted to territorial development and environmental improvement. The audience will be treated to a discussion entitled "Master plan as a tool for dialogue: new opportunities for developers in territorial development", a case session entitled "Regions of Russia as a cultural space" and a public talk entitled "How to preserve identity when creating landscape projects".

On April 4, the lecture hall will discuss career development in architecture. The personnel issue is very acute in all areas today, and two seemingly mutually exclusive problems are simultaneously maturing in the architectural community. On the one hand, it is still difficult for young specialists to start a career: architectural firms are reluctant to consider graduates with little design experience as candidates for vacancies. On the other hand, the same architectural firms suffer from a shortage of personnel, especially in the context of active construction development in Moscow and the regions. HR specialists and practicing architects will discuss how to solve this issue.

The lecture hall will conclude with an award ceremony for the winners of the  MosBuild Architecture & Design Award (MADA)
